Donations made directly to Healing Homes are not tax-deductible. If you’re interested in making a tax-deductible gift to support children in foster care through our nonprofit partner, Starfish Ministries of Cenla, we’d be happy to connect you.

Every contribution helps create a safe, healing environment for children in our care. Donations are used to purchase essentials such as clothing, hygiene items, bedding, toys, school supplies, enrichment activities, and other items that help children feel safe, comfortable, and at home.

Yes! We welcome individuals, churches, businesses, and community groups who want to make a difference. Opportunities may include preparing meals, organizing supply drives, helping furnish homes, providing enrichment activities, or supporting special projects.

Absolutely. We gladly accept many new items and selected gently used items that directly benefit the children in our homes. Our needs list is updated regularly, and we’re happy to let you know what’s needed most.

While we don’t offer individual child sponsorships to protect the privacy of the children we serve, you can sponsor a bedroom, provide welcome baskets, furnish common spaces, or support activities and special needs throughout the year.
